SYNOPSIS
Já era tempo das protagonistas das histórias e dos contos deixarem de ser princesas belas e benevolentes. Desta feita, surgem as bufonas, divertidas e travessas. Uma procura por novas dramaturgias no âmbito do teatro de humor no feminino. O feio pode revelar-se belo, divertido e terno e onde a confiança até enjoa!
La Buffa oferece-nos uma verdadeira viagem pelas relações mais fraternais: esse jogo contínuo de empurra e puxa entre carinho e ódio, amor e disputa, que marca o quotidiano de qualquer casal, sejam irmãos, irmãs ou relações de outra natureza qualquer.

Cía. La Buffa
We could say that Cía LA BUFFA was founded in the mid-1980s when these two sisters, Angi and Charo Amaya, began playing and creating stories together. But it was now, 40 years later, when they decided to take the plunge and produce their first show, their first masterpiece as a company, where they focused on bringing back the fun and playful spirit that marked their childhood.
These two sisters have traveled and shared countless laughs and shows with a multitude of audiences in countries and on stages such as Spain, Portugal, France... Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine... Ethiopia, Congo, Sierra Leone... Argentina, Chile, El Salvador... etc.
Both have developed their artistic careers separately, working with different companies or solo. They always say that “it's never too late if the joy is good,” because now, finally! we can see these two great actresses, as well as sisters, together.
Cia. LA BUFFA presents itself as an emerging company and, in turn, is already areference in female comedy in the Iberian Peninsula, in its most vain and buffoonish aspect.
It is with great pleasure that we present LA BUFFA, a great journey that has just begun...
As BUFONAS...
ANGI AMAYA
Actress, clown, buffoon, theater researcher, and director. She is responsible for the direction and dramaturgy of LA BUFFA and also defends it as an actress on stage. She started doing theater at school and, since then, has not been able to stop. What she likes most in the whole world is to make people laugh and travel the world with her big shoes and a big smile. She is an expert in playing and doing silly things. She has a PhD in Sunset and is about to complete a Master's degree in Jokes and Irony. She spends the whole day clowning around and, at night, she is a jester on call in case anyone needs her.
CHARO AMAYA
Charo Amaya, actress, clown, buffoon, and circus artist. She is the creator and builder of the set design, and also performs in the show. As a child, she was called “rebellious hair” because of her curly hair and mischievousness. From an early age, she enjoyed gymnastics, theater, and sports, and combining all these ingredients and following her instincts, she is now dedicated to the circus. She has a company called Circobaya, with which she presents new circus shows around the world, including techniques such as balancing, acrobatic portés, and object manipulation—always seasoned with lots of love and humor.
