SOBRE A FORMAÇÃO
There are many times and traces embedded in the landscape. There are also many bodies that inhabit us and of which we are made.
In approaching the body archive, we have been working towards the full and intense liberation of the archive, allowing bodies and dances that we have and do not know to emerge. The archive is dispersion. Dispersion of particles, fragments, traces, shadows. And autobiography, more than a narrative, is what is inscribed in our most intimate depths: traces, echoes, images that remain. Bodies and landscapes are constructed by countless strata of time, seeking to experience dialogues between one and the other in approaching this plurality of durations.
What happens if I not only visit the landscape/place/space, but try to push my body into it and, at the same time, allow the landscape/place/space to push itself into my body? “Reading and at the same time rewriting the ground, reinscribing oneself on the ground.” The idea is to combine field sessions with studio sessions. Inhabiting a landscape, breathing it, observing it, incorporating it, and letting thoughts flow, recording memories and musings in writing. Bringing materials and starting points for the creation of movement, text, and sound to the studio, improvising and composing from there. Return to the landscape for collective improvisation/composition exercises.
The work culminates in an open class.
