Born in 1961 in S. Miguel. He has a degree in theatre from the National Conservatory of Lisbon (1980-85) and a master’s degree in theatre from ESAD (2010-12). On television highlights his work in the productions "Mau Tempo no Canal", "A Banqueira do Povo", "Jornalistas", "A Mulher Do Ministro", "Jura". In the cinema participated in films by João Canijo, Rosa Coutinho Cabral, Fernando Lopes, Jorge António, Fernando Matos Silva, Francisco Manso, Maria Schraeder, among others. In the theater participated in plays staged by Mário Feliciano, Rosa Coutinho Cabral, Carlos Avilez, Paula Sá Nogueira, Diogo Dória and José António Pires, Rodrigo Francisco, Jorge Ribeiro, Carla Bolito, Álvaro Correia, among others. Directed and staged the ISCSP Theater Group and the FPCEUL University Theater Ultimato group for several years, with presence in FATAL.He was a teacher of Dramatic Expression, Interpretation, Movement, Voice, and Dramaturgy at Passos Manuel Secondary School. She was part of the dubbing teams of Teresa Madruga, Teresa Sobral and Cláudia Cadima.

WHY AM I HERE AND DOING THIS NOW?

The workshop will follow the model of a theater laboratory where selected scenes from the works of Tchekhov such as The Seagull, Uncle Vanya, and The Cherry Orchard will be addressed. Participants will be divided into groups and will autonomously work on these scenes. A priority will be given to Stanislavsky's work in character development, paying special attention to the elements that constitute the scenes:
