FESTIVALS

SEPTEMBER – ACTING WORKSHOP

WHY AM I HERE AND DOING THIS NOW?

The workshop will follow a theatrical laboratory model, focusing on selected scenes from Chekhov’s works such as The Seagull, Uncle Vanya and The Cherry Orchard. Participants will be divided into groups and will work autonomously on these scenes. Particular emphasis will be placed on Stanislavski’s approach to character development, with special attention given to the elements that shape each scene: where, when and how.

In each session, the following elements will be addressed:

  • Warm-up exercises to make the body fully available

  • Voice exploration

  • Theatrical games – trust, space, relationships, improvisation

  • Scene analysis

  • Experimentation
